The global fuel market is one of the greatest fluctuating markets that exist today. The price of gasoline all over the United States has jumped at alarming rates. If there is a decrease in the prices, it is a painfully slow one. When a national disaster happens, you as a consumer can expect gasoline prices to increase by dollars, literally. Look at the gas prices immediately preceding Hurricane Katrina, then look at the gas prices after the storm. Oil companies have been accused of price gouging since this time and many people are taking advantage of the high gas prices to find fuel alternatives and be a little more conservative with their gas usage.

Tip! 7) Tax Incentive - The IRS is offering tax incentives to anyone that produce and use Biodiesel fuel. The US Government is working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by giving producers of Biodiesel fuel government funds.
With gas prices increasing and growing environmental awareness, the need to consider alternate energy and fuel sources are becoming a necessity. One alternative is the use of Biodiesel fuel, which is becoming more and more popular today.
Because Biodiesel is a cleaner-burning diesel fuel, made from 100% natural, 100% renewable vegetable sources, its uses in today’s society may surprise you. Below are nine ways Biodiesel is being used. Some of which you may never have realized.

Tip! Most of the people around never heard of biodiesel fuel. It’s a fuel that is made from vegetable oil.
Suppose you could cut your fuel cost by a substantial amount? Suppose you could help cut down on carbon dioxide in the atmosphere while reducing your engine wear? These are only a few of the benefits of making biodiesel fuel at home.
Making biodiesel fuel at home is a hot topic due to the recent increases in gas prices. Individuals across the country are producing biodiesel fuels for pennies using ingredients such a vegetable oil, animal fats, and grease. Anyone can start their own biodiesel production. Most consider this a difficult process, however, it is much easier than most would think. Here is a three step system for making biodiesel fuel at home.

Lubrication Additive - Because Biodiesel is a better lubricant than current low-sulfur petroleum, fuel injectors and other types of fuel pumps can rely on Biodiesel fuel for lubrication. With the right additives, engine performance can also be enhanced, making engines last longer.
By “biodiesel production” we mean
making it in quantity. We have moved beyond the testing phase and know pretty much what we are doing at this point. We are making enough for home and/or commercial usage. You will, of course want to make test batches first, and quality test them, but once you have come up with good quality fuel it is then only a question of scale. Biodiesel Production in this article is meant to address the question of scale producing enough for your own personal needs.

Tip! 4) Trucking Industry - More and more truckers are switching from diesel fuel to Biodiesel fuel. The benefits are numerous not to mention the advantage of helping the environment and reducing our dependency on foreign oil, while saving money.
What are biodiesel cars?
- It’s a car whose fuel you can make at home.
- It’s a car that doesn’t depend on the high price of gasoline to get you to work.
- It’s a vehicle that is cleaner and more efficient than gas or regular diesel.
- It’s a car your friends are gonna envy.
Of course, most people won’t believe it at first. Then they’ll make up all kinds of reasons why biodiesel cars isn’t a good idea “for them.” Well, THEY HEARD, blah, blah, blah. Well, that’s cool. They’re correct, it’s not for some people. But if you want to needle them a little, all you have to do is ask them a simple question;

Tip! In different parts of the world, different plants are used as the source for the vegetable oil that is made into Biodiesel. Theoretically, any vegetable grown can be broken down and turned into Biodiesel, but right now most Biodiesel producers use one primary crop as their source.
BUILDING A BIODIESEL PROCESSOR IS EASY! The headlines scream.
Let’s get this straight right away. Yes, it is possible. (Notice I didn’t say “Easy.”) Many people have built them themselves, and a lot of people are doing so right now. There is a lot of talk recently about people going to the local dump and scrounging up the various parts and whipping up the processor of their dreams. In fact on my web site below you can find detailed plans to do this very thing.
